Busoga University Law faculty gets full accreditation

The Law Council Committee on Legal Education and Training at its meeting held on 15th January, 2015, granted an unconditional accreditation to the Faculty of Law of Busoga University.


Admission for January/April 2015 Intake is in progress

The office of the Academic Registrar, Busoga   University, invites applicants for the following regular,weekend, holiday and evening programmes for the January 2015 intake.  The intake commences on January 5th, 2015.


1,457 to graduate at Busoga University this Friday

A total of 1,457 students are set to graduate from Busoga University on Friday (September 26) in different disciplines with certificates (408), diplomas (429), bachelors’ degree (585), postgraduate diplomas (17), masters (17), and an honorary doctorate of laws (Honoris Causa) award to the Rt. Hon. Rebecca. A Kadaga, Speaker of the 9th parliament of Uganda for her role in developing the country and the education sector.  Of the graduands, 648 are females and 235 international students.


New Vice Chancellor, Deputy Vice Chancellor appointed.

The University Chancellor, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Michael A. S. Kyomya recently appointed Dr. David Lameck Kibikyo and Mr. Steven Mugoya as the new Vice Chancellor, and Deputy Vice Chancellor respectively.


MTN Uganda donates to Busoga University

MTN Uganda on Friday 13th June 2014 donated to Busoga University items worth 16 million Uganda shillings.  This was during activities to mark MTN’s “21 Days of Y’ello Care” under the theme “Education for all”, held at Busoga University.
